Choose a living thing. Write a plan for how you would take care of it for one week.  Make sure you include ALL of the things it would need to survive.

We learned about several landforms in class yesterday, but there are many others we didn't talk about yet.  I have posted a song on the Haiku, Social Studies, Landforms page about some of the landforms we learned about as well as some new ones.
1.  Listen to the song carefully.
2. On a piece of notebook paper write down the landforms you hear in order.
3. Look at the Landforms Glossary (Haiku, Social Studies, Landforms) to check your spelling.
4. In the glossary, find one new landform that was not in the song or in our classroom lesson.  Write down the name and definition of the landform.
4. Then, share your list by adding a comment.  Don't forget to write about the 'new landform' you discovered.

This week we were learning about compound words.  Can you make a list of at least 10 compound words?  Try to think of unusual words that other students might not list.

Please watch this BrainPop Jr. movie and take an easy and hard quiz:

Plant Parts

Turn your scores in to the Haiku Dropbox.

Then, add a comment to this post telling about how a plant uses its parts to grow.

Don't forget to type your name at the bottom of your comment!
