  1. A plant needs roots because it soaks up the nutrients and water to help it grow.
Also air and sunlight will help it make chlorophyll watch is food for the plant. The fruit of the plant holds a lot of seeds so then it can grow new plants. Also another thing that roots do is that they it helps the plant to
not blow away in a windstorm.

  2. Dear Mrs. lee this is how a plant uses its parts to grow
first the seed in the ground needs enough water and sunlight until some of it pops out of the ground then it needs more water and sunlight until it can grow a leaf then the leaf absorbs the sunlight and the roots will absorb the water with the nutrionce in it. That is how a plant uses its parts to grow.

  3. DearMrs.Lee, tis is how a plant uses its parts to grow

the seed helps it grow into a sprout but it can not grow into a sprout unless it as some sunlight and water. The seed comes from comes from a older plant wich has fruit. The leafs make food for the plant. The stem brings the food and nutrients up from the roots. The roots bring the nutrients and water in from the ground.

  4. Dear Mrs. Lee first the seed. Then the roots grow
and water go's in the soil and reaches the roots. Then a little stem pops up then leaves grow. Then it gets taller and taller thenit turns into a tree or a plant.

The roots take in water and nutrients. The leaves take in air, water, and sun to make food for the plant. The seed grows into a plant in the soil. Without the roots in the soil, the plant would blow away with the wind.

  6. Dear Mrs. Lee,
Leaves need sun to grow. A carrot would grow at the roots. If you put a plant in a dark room the plant could lose leaves or die. Fruit grows at the flower part. A plant will die iof it does not get water or sun light. Plants make people strong when they get cut up into salad. If plants weren't made then we would not have some of the food we have today. We would have rotten teeth because all we would have to eat would be junk. If plants did not have seeds there would not be a lot of plants to eat.

  7. Dear Mrs. Lee
First you put a seed in the soil. Then you water the plant and let it have a lot of sun light. After a little stem comes out. Later in the year it grows taller and taller and taller. Then it will become a flower or a tree.

  8. Dear Mrs. Lee

Plants use their roots to suck up the nutrients. They use their leaves to absorb the sunshine and uses their stems like a highway to bring nutrients from the roots to the leaves and bring the sunshine from the leaves to the roots. This is like the trees I learned about.
